An indoor pre-wedding photo session in secret London interiors
When Ayomide and Andrew contacted me for their pre wedding photo shoot in November, I first thought that taking engagement photos in London during the winter might not be easy. How to avoid the rain, the chilly wind and the freezing temperature? Luckily, I found that London offers, or should I say "still offers" some hidden gems where photographers are allowed to shoot indoor freely. I suggested to this lovely couple two indoor locations in the West end: The Wallace Gallery and The Royal Institution of Great Britain. Both locations offer stylish interiors design, luxuriant decoration, plenty of natural lighting, spacious landings and hallways, beautiful staircase and even an old library. Impressed and shy at first, Ayo's fiancé quickly lost his timidity and felt very comfortable inside these historical venues. It was then a real delight to produce memorable and intimate photographs of couple in love.
As you can see, there is always hope to shot unique and romantic pre wedding photos when the sun is gone and the sky threatening.
